This book intends to give the reader good view of the history the Swedish Air Force, to tell the story how a non-allied air force went to combat, not only in neighbouring Finland, but also in Africa to illustrate the struggling attempts to build an aircraft industry out of virtually nothing to describe the way of living for an air force, squeezed as it once was between the communist Warsaw-pact and the western NATO.
